The Hessian chemical industry has always considered specialist training a great investment in the future.

In 2010, companies offering education and training in the Hessian chemical industry raised its number of apprentice positions to total 1,426 in spite of increased unemployment numbers. 82 apprentice positions were added to this by member companies from the plastics processing industry.

With the labor contract “Success through Vocational Training” (Zukunft durch Ausbildung), which was concluded for both the chemical and plastics processing industry in the State of Hesse, the companies made a contribution to offering apprentice positions to all young and capable persons seeking job education and training.
