The Hessian association of chemical industry employers currently has 22 related-industry service company members with about 10,000 employees.

These are companies which, due to the restructuring of large chemical companies, were established as spin-offs and now operate independently.
These companies operate in several fields, such as IT services, maintenance, logistics, human resource services, vocational training and further education, catering, etc.

Official economic data for the field of chemical-related services has yet to be established.
