Foreign executives and employees working in Germany are often unfamiliar with German employment and labour law and the social partnership in the chemical industry. Nevertheless, they frequently face employment and labour law-related situations requiring them to act legally sound and accurately. Moreover, foreign executives and employees are expected to follow the principles of social partnership, thus contributing to corporate labour peace.

This seminar offers an overview of the most important regulations of German employment and labour law, taking into particular consideration provisions of the applicable collective bargaining agreements for the chemical industry. The objective is to create awareness for typical issues of German employment and labour law.
